Thigh Lift (Thighplasty)
A thigh lift reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin and fat, resulting in smoother, more proportionate leg contours. This procedure is particularly effective for patients with loose inner thigh skin due to ageing, weight loss, or genetics that does not respond to exercise.
Types of Thigh Lift
Inner (Medial) Thigh Lift: Targets the inner thigh with an incision in the groin crease. Most common type, addresses mild to moderate excess skin.
Vertical Thigh Lift: An additional incision runs from the groin to the knee for patients with significant excess skin (common after massive weight loss).
Outer Thigh Lift: Addresses the outer thigh and is often combined with a lower body lift.
